Mary Kassin – Personal Fitness Trainer
Mary is passionate about the importance of a fitness regime and wants to help others to achieve their personal best for a long, healthy life. It is not about losing 10 pounds by going on a crash diet. It is about turning those 10 pounds of fat into muscle, re-shaping your body, and burning calories more efficiently through exercise and by eating sensibly. It is a life time commitment to health and fitness.
She received her certificate through World Instructor Training Schools and Macomb Community College, after intensive training through an internship at Fitness Together.
She is actively pursuing additional education in the fitness and nutrition industries. She enjoys reading as well as surfing the internet for anything related to health and fitness, and discovering new routines to keep your workout fun, as well as challenging.
She was always active with swimming, volleyball, softball, and kickball, and took an interest in health and fitness for personal improvement approximately 5 years ago, beginning with circuit training and working her way up to weight training. Her father was a great inspiration, setting a good example by exercising regularly. He is still in great shape and active at the age of 83.
Her other interests include reading, ballroom dancing, making porcelain dolls, and spending time with family.
